Do we have to use it all day?
No. Many cafés only bring the cards out at peak times, such as weekend brunch or the lunchtime rush. When tables are free, simply leave the cards behind the counter.
What if the café is quiet?
Use your judgement. The card is a tool for when tables are in demand, not a rule you have to enforce. On quiet afternoons, write a generous time or don’t hand a card out at all.
Do customers have to leave when it expires?
The card asks customers to be considerate and either top up at the counter or make room for others. Most people happily buy another drink. It gives your team a friendly, neutral prompt rather than an awkward conversation.
Can we choose our own workspace duration?
Yes. You decide how long a coffee, a lunch or a cake buys, and you can change it day to day.
How quickly will they arrive?
Cards are dispatched within 3 to 5 working days. Stands are made to order, so allow up to 10. Delivery is free and tracked anywhere in the UK, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as the parcel leaves us.
Can we have our own logo on the card?
Yes. Email hello@getworkcard.com and we’ll send over trade pricing and print specifications for custom-branded cards.
Do we need the wooden stands?
Not strictly, though a card lying flat on a table stops doing its job. The stands hold it upright where staff and the next customer can see it, and they come in tens and twenties, so one order covers the tables that take laptops.
